The Warriors moved arguably their best young player Jordan Poole to the Wizards when acquiring Chris Paul. There is a possibility that Washington will trade the 24-year-old shooting guard before next year’s trade deadline to get rid of his 4-year, $128 million contract.
But Jake Fischer of Yahoo! Sports reports that Golden State was under impression that the Wizards intend to keep Poole on the roster.
This past season Poole averaged 20.4 points, 2.7 rebounds and 4.5 assists in 30 minutes per game.
