Panathinaikos have made a significant signing by adding Kostas Antetokounmpo to their roster for the next two years. The 25-year-old center, born in Athens, Greece, last played for Fenerbahce.

Kostas is the younger brother of NBA superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo, who plays for the Milwaukee Bucks. After moving to the United States with his family, Kostas attended Dominican High School in Wisconsin, leading his team to a state championship.

He then played college basketball before being selected in the 2018 NBA draft. Kostas has also had stints with the Dallas Mavericks, Los Angeles Lakers, and Fenerbahce. He was part of the Lakers championship team in 2020.

He brings international experience as a member of the Greek national team, having played at the EuroBasket 2022.
