As they continue to have serious conversations with the Washington Wizards, the Miami Heat are reportedly looking to acquire Bradley Beal without giving up Tyler Herro, per Anthony Chiang of the Miami Heat.

According to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald, the trade could feature Kyle Lowry and multiple draft picks at the side of Miami, whereas Duncan Robinson or Victor Oladipo will be added for salary-matching purposes.

Beal is set to start on his $251 million contract for the next five years this upcoming season.

Lowry has $29.7MM in the last year of his deal with the Heat. Meanwhile, Robinson ($18.2MM) and Oladipo ($9.5MM) are also earning plenty which can ultimately match the massive income by the Washington star to complete the transaction.

Miami’s intent to still stick around Herro only shows their commitment to still have him in the long-term process of the franchise run. The promising hotshot guard only played in their postseason opener against the Milwaukee Bucks after sustaining a broken right hand. Nevertheless, his unavailability didn’t hinder the Heat to cement a historic postseason story and an NBA Finals finish as an eight-seed club.

Obtaining Beal with Herro still on their shelf is truly a fantastic scenario for the Heat, as they will only enhance their offensive fireworks and hand Jimmy Butler more help in that continuing chase for a title.
