G League Ignite prospect Scoot Henderson is set to do his draft workouts with the Charlotte Hornets and the Portland Trail Blazers only, per Sean Highkin of Rose Garden Report.

Charlotte is slated to pick the second overall pick of the draft and is followed up by the Blazers for the third pick. The San Antonio Spurs won the prized first selection with all signs pointing at French wunderkind Victor Wembanyama landing on them.

On Saturday, Henderson already completed his draft workouts with the Blazers. Despite that Wembanyama is already being expected to go first, Henderson remains confident in his case to be at the top of his draft class.

“You always want a guy like me, that dog mentality,” he told Blazers reporter Casey Holdahl about his case for being the 2023 Draft top pick. “Just my personality, the culture I bring to the locker room. I’m a great leader, I’ll tell what’s up and I can do everything on the floor. I can do everything on the floor. I’m going to go out there and give my 110 percent every day. And that’s the thing about me: I’m very consistent in effort. Even if it’s not there, I just try to even it out the next game, try to get right to it. Give it a 120 if I didn’t give it 110 the last game.”

The 2023 NBA Draft is set on June 23.
