Brandon Miller scored 21 points and grabbed eight rebounds as the Charlotte Hornets overcame a 19-point deficit to defeat the Portland Trail Blazers 103-101 at the Moda Center on Tuesday night.

LaMelo Ball scored 12 of his 14 points in the fourth quarter, helping Charlotte outscore Portland 19-0 in the final stretch to secure the comeback victory.

Kon Knueppel added 15 points and five rebounds, while Ryan Kalkbrenner contributed 13 points and six boards off the bench. The Hornets improved to 33-33, returning to .500 on the season.

Portland controlled most of the first half, leading 43-34 in the second quarter, but a cold-shooting fourth quarter and turnovers allowed Charlotte to seize momentum.

Jerami Grant led the Trail Blazers with 24 points on 7-of-10 shooting. Deni Avdija scored 22 points, Scoot Henderson added 14 off the bench, and both Toumani Camara and Donovan Clingan contributed 11 points.

Charlotte shot 39 percent from the field and 37 percent from three-point range while making 21-of-25 free throws. The Hornets also outrebounded Portland 52-42 and forced 10 turnovers compared with six for the Blazers.

The Hornets will continue their West Coast road trip at Los Angeles on Thursday, while the Trail Blazers return home to face Utah on Friday.
