Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray were the top scorers for the Nuggets in Game 1 win of the NBA Finals against the Heat. The two stars scored 27 and 26 points respectively.

In addition, Jokic had 10 rebounds and 14 assists while Murray added 6 rebounds and 10 assists. Former NBA player JJ Redick believes that the two Denver’s stars are the best duo in the NBA right now.

“I think they’re easily the best duo in the game,” Redick said on First Take. “And this isn’t about 2K ratings or one-on-one bucket getters, or aggregate stats total points between your two best players. This is about how they affect the game of basketball which is a team sport. And to use an Aaron Rodgers word, there’s “synchronacity” on the basketball court. There’s a connectivity, there’s an intuitiveness to how they play basketball.”
