USA has unveiled its warmup schedule for the upcoming 2023 FIBA Men’s World Cup, with five showcase games set to prepare the national team for the international competition. The first game will take place in Las Vegas, where the Americans will face Puerto Rico at T-Mobile Arena on August 7.

Following the game against Puerto Rico, the Team USA will continue its preparations with showcase games in Spain and Abu Dhabi. The team will play Slovenia and Spain in Malaga, Spain on August 12 and 13, respectively. Then, in Abu Dhabi, the U.S. will face Greece and Germany on August 18 and 20.

The warmup schedule serves as a crucial part of the team’s training camp in Las Vegas, where they will fine-tune their strategies and build chemistry before heading to the World Cup. Further details, including rosters and ticket information for the Abu Dhabi games, will be announced later.

Team USA will compete in Group C alongside Greece, Jordan, and New Zealand. After a disappointing 7th-place finish in the 2019 FIBA World Cup, the U.S. team is determined to make a strong comeback and showcase their basketball prowess on the international stage.
