Lokomotiv Kuban have signed power forward Brian Randle from Maccabi Electra Tel Aviv, the club announced today.

Randle averaged 12 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 1.2 blocks in 25 Euroleague games last season for Maccabi, helping them claim the Israeli State Cup and the Euroleague quarter-finals.

The 30-year-old veteran has spent the majority of his time in Israel, including two seasons with Hapoel Jerusalem and Maccabi Haifa Bazan. He has also had a spell in Germany for ALBA Berlin.

“I am honoured to be a part of the Lokomotiv Kuban club and family,” Randle said. “My family and I are so appreciative and humbled by this opportunity, and we look forward to representing the club.

“Every year is different, whether there are new players or whether the team stays the same, so it’s hard to say what will happen this year.

“Lokomotiv Kuban is a club that has seen success and victory in every level of competition it has competed in, and I look forward to helping continue this level of play and hopefully find success along the way. Thank you to Lokomotiv Kuban management and coach for giving me this opportunity.”
