The Miami Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra said that the firing of Doc Rivers was ‘disturbing’ after the Philadelphia 76ers lost to the Boston Celtics in 7 games, and said Doc was a Hall-of-Famer.

This comes on the heels of Monty Williams being fired by the Phoenix Suns; Spoelstra said ‘didn’t make sense’ for ‘experienced, proven coaches’ to be losing their jobs like this.
