The Boston Celtics star forward Jayson Tatum spoke to reporters following his team defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 114-102 on Friday night to take a 2-1 lead in the Eastern Conference semifinal series. Jayson Tatum scored 27 points and Jaylen Brown added 23 for the Celtics.

“Yeah, whoever laughed at him earlier, shame on you is definitely a least shooter,” Tatum said. “And he’s just been that in, in proving that and he’s so important to what we’re trying to accomplish as a team how he’s transitioned his game from early in his career to now being a knockdown shooter, being somebody that, you know, really makes our offense special, right?

“You know, you got me out there, you got JB. But, you know, the thing that really helps us is being able to space the floor, right? And you gotta worry about us getting to the basket, you know, if you wanna come help, you know, we got shooters all around and, and al takes big shots and makes big shots. So, you know, I got all the trust in the world, And how, whenever he’s, you know, out there, whenever he has the ball, whenever he’s shooting.”
