The Magic have the sixth highest chance of getting the number one pick in this year’s NBA Draft. It is widely expected that Victor Wembanyama will the top pick this summer.
Paolo Banchero, who has just won the Rookie of the Year award, thinks that if Orlando were to add the French prodigy, he would take the team to another level.
“If we were able to add that guy, I think it would take this team to another level,” Banchero said about Wembanyama. “That guy’s a player, I don’t think many people have seen before in terms of the height, the skill, the movements, how he’s able to move at this size it really don’t make sense when you watch it.
“Whatever team gets him, is going to be lucky. But if we get him, I think it’s going to cause a lot of problems for this league.”
