The WNBA’s Phoenix Mercury got a pre-season glimpse of Brittney Griner on Monday as the 6-foot-9 center prepares to face the media for the first time since being released from a Russian penal colony on December 8 after being detained in February 2022 and sentenced to nine years for drug smuggling.
