The NBA suspended Draymond Green for Game 3 after the Warriors forward stomped on Domantas Sabonis in Game 2.

According to the official press release from the league, the previous behavior of the four-time NBA champion was taken into account when making a decision to suspend him.

The player himself thinks that the suspension was unwarranted. “I never knew you could be suspended for a flagrant-two foul that happened seven years ago,” Green said on his podcast, via HoopsHype.

“I also never knew you could get suspended for interacting with a crowd that’s flipping you double-birds and yelling your name and chanting that you suck.”
