The Raptors lost at home against the Pacers (114-118). It was the second straight loss for Toronto.
After the game Fred VanVleet, who scored 28 points and dished out 11 assists for the Raptors, talked about the connection between the support of the fans and how the team is doing.
If one is doing bad, the other is also struggling, the 29-year-old shooting guard said.
Via Michael Hoad of Yahoo! Sports:
“The crowd and the city will reflect what we do,” VanVleet told reporters on Tuesday. “When we play like s—t, the crowd’s s—t, and vice versa. When we play our brand of basketball, when we get it going in there, when we got the right energy and spirit, just that winning atmosphere, we all can build on that.”
Toronto is still in the race for a postseason spot. The team is currently ninth in the Eastern Conference with 35 wins and 38 losses.
