Karl-Anthony Towns played for the first time since late November as he scored 22 points for the Timberwolves in the win over the Hawks (125-124).

Two of his points were crucial game-winning free throws. With 3 seconds left to play in the fourth quarter and Minnesota down by 1 point, KAT stepped to the free-throw line and knocked both free throws.

“Two free throws don’t worry about it. I got that,” the 27-year-old center said after the game, via Bally Sports North.

This season Towns is averaging 20.8 points, 8.2 rebounds and 5.3 assists in 33.8 minutes per game.
