The NBA is suspending the Memphis Grizzlies point guard Ja Morant for eight games without pay for conduct detrimental to the league. The suspension covers the six games he’ll miss, including tonight against the Miami Heat.

He is eligible to play on Monday against the Dallas Mavericks, the same day that he’s able to rejoin the Grizzlies in the team environment. His ramp-up to return will begin on Monday and return to games soon thereafter.
