Spencer Dinwiddie returned to Brooklyn for the first time since 2020 after getting traded to the Nets by the Mavericks before this year’s trade deadline.
Brooklyn’s head coach Jacque Vaughn, who has known Dinwiddie since 2016, says the point guard has matured a lot over the years.
“I’ve seen Spencer at the age of 22, 23; now seeing him at the age of 29, 30. And the maturation is to another level, and you have to give him credit for that. And that’s just experience,” Vaughn said, per Brian Lewis of New York Post.
Dinwiddie is averaging 18.3 points, 4 rebounds and 7.6 assists in 34.9 minutes per game since joining the Nets.
