The Knicks lost against the Hornets (105-112), one of the bottom teams in the Eastern Conference, snapping their 9-game winning streak.
Julius Randle, who scored 16 points and grabbed 8 rebounds for New York in this game, said after the game that his team ran out of gas.
“Ran out of gas,” Randle said. “We’ve still got to take care of business regardless.”
Despite the loss, the Knicks remained in the fifth place in the East with 39 wins and 28 losses.
