Washington Wizards point guard Monte Morris will be out on a week-to-week timeline due to lower back problems, the team declared in a press release.

Morris has missed the Wizard’s last two games due to the said injury, wherein he also took an epidural injection.

This season, Morris is averaging 10.4 points and a career-high 5.3 assists in 51 games. He was acquired by Washington last offseason in a trade with the Denver Nuggets.

The Wizards (29-32) sit in 10th place in the Eastern Conference. They will look to maintain their grasp of a potential Play-in or postseason appearance as they face the Toronto Raptors on Thursday.
