As was reported earlier, LaMelo Ball suffered a fractured right ankle in the Hornets’ win over the Pistons.

According to Yahoo Sports, the injury might mean that the season is over for the 21-year-old point guard. Ball has played 36 games so far this season.

If indeed LaMelo’s season ends at this point, it would be the second time in three years when he is unable to complete the season.

This season Ball is averaging 23.3 points, 6.4 rebounds and 8.4 assists in 35.2 minutes per game.
