LaMelo Ball had to leave the game between the Hornets and Pistons after playing 21 minutes due to an injury which he suffered by landing awkwardly.
During his time on the court the 21-year-old point guard scored 18 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and dished out 5 assists.
The Hornets revealed that Ball suffered a fracture in his right ankle.
This season LaMelo is averaging 23.4 points, 6.4 rebounds and 8.5 assists in 35.6 minutes per game.
