Hong Kong SAR, February 28, 2023East Asia Super League (EASL) Champions Week is set to tip-off on March 1 and the games are set to be the highlight of the year for professional basketball fans in the region with exciting match-ups from the best teams of the best leagues, featuring local heroes in primetime, with broadcast coverage on 22 outlets and over 40 media from around Asia in attendance.

EASL is proud to announce its newest partner, Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., as a sponsor of EASL Champions Week. The partnership represents EASL’s continued efforts to offer commercial partners a premium exposure platform and a channel to connect with fans.

EASL Champions Week will also have an elite 50-person film crew led by award-winning Korean director John H. Lee, Korean reality series production company IGNITE! Studio, former head of CAA China Jonah Greenberg’s Salty Pictures, Steve Nash’s CTRL Media and Marc Iserlis’ Third Culture Co., on site producing the EASL reality series. It will focus on behind-the-scenes, humanistic narratives around the game.

EASL will hold a news conference at 11 a.m. China and Philippines time / 12 p.m. Japan and Korea time on March 1 to officially tip-off the competitions that will be livestreamed on EASL social media platforms. EASL CEO Matt Beyer will welcome fans, teams and media to EASL Champions Week, and the captains of each participating team will speak and pose for photo and video ops.
