The Philadelphia 76ers small forward PJ Tucker spoke to reporters after Philly’s shocking loss to the Boston Celtics. Joel Embiid made a desperation full-court shot in an attempt to tie but time had expired.

Jayson Tatum made the go-ahead 3-pointer with 1.3 seconds left to put Boston on top. Boston held on for a 110-107 victory against the Philadelphia 76ers in Saturday night’s thriller.

Tucker, who immediately grabbed the ball after Tatum’s shot and inbounded it to Embiid, said Sixers players realized it was late.

“The other guys on the bench knew right away,” he said.
