The Boston Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla spoke to reporters after the Philadelphia 76ers’ shocking loss to the Celtics.

Jayson Tatum made a go-ahead 3-pointer with 1.3 seconds left to put Boston on top. Joel Embiid then made a desperation full-court shot in an attempt to tie but time had expired. Boston held on for a 110-107 victory against the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday night.

“I think it’s a read,” Mazzulla said, via ESPN. “You can do a bunch of different stuff out of [that set]. So it’s just a matter of reading where the defenders are. [Marcus] Smart made a great play. [Tatum] did a good job making separation.

“Situations like that, players have to make plays, and they did.”
