For the first time in six years Joel Embiid will not be starting in the NBA All-Star Game.

The Cameroonian superstar will be on the bench as Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jayson Tatum, Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and Donovan Mitchell will be on the starting lineup without a true center.

Kyle Kuzma took to Twitter to express his reaction to the news. “Ngl .@JoelEmbiid not starting is nuts,” the Wizards forward tweeted.

Currently Embiid is the league’s second to scorer with 33.4 points per game. He is also averaging 9.8 rebounds and 4.1 assists in 34.8 minutes per game as the 76ers sit in the second place in the Eastern Conference.
