It was reported earlier that Kyle Kuzma is expected to decline his player option this summer and hit free agency.

Meanwhile, the Wizards are reportedly interested in keeping the 27-year-old forward who is having a career year in Washington.

Recently Kuzma was asked directly if he sees himself staying with the Wizards. He was affirmitive.

“Yeah, 100 percent, for sure,” Kuzma said when asked whether he could see himself returning to the Wizards should the right deal come along. “For me, it’s all about my growth and how I can improve. That’s the thing I’m always chasing — trying to get better. That’s the main, important thing.”

This season Kuzma is averaging career-high 21.6 points, 7.5 rebounds and 3.9 assists in 35.3 minutes per game.
