Recently Marc Stein reported that Kyle Kuzma will become an unrestricted free agent in summer and that he wants leave the Wizards.
If Washington indeed feels that the 27-year-old forward is going to leave the team next summer for nothing, it is likely that Kuzma will be made available ahead of the trade deadline.
While the player may want to continue his career on another team, the Wizards reportedly view him as a big part of the future.

Internally, however, Kuzma is considered, “a big part of the future” for the Wizards, according to a league source who spoke with HoopsHype. The Wizards believe they’re a more talented team than the record has shown to this point.
This season Kuzma is averaging career-high 21.6 points, 7.6 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 30.9 minutes per game.
