The New York Knicks star RJ Barrett missed a sixth straight game on Monday night, but he may not need a seventh before returning.
Barrett is “real close,” the Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau said before the game, meaning that the player’s first game back from a lacerated finger could come on Wednesday against the Indiana Pacers.
“He’s doing well, so we’ll see where he is [Tuesday],” Thibodeau said.
