Washington Wizards star Bradley Beal will be shelved for at least a week after an MRI revealed that he has a low-grade left hamstring strain.

Beal sustained the injury during the second period of Tuesday’s loss against the Milwaukee Bucks. He then left the game and finished with just eight points and four assists in 13 minutes of play.

Beal is averaging 22.9 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 5.2 assists per game this season. The Wizards are currently standing in a difficult spot (17-22) with him set to be out for another time.

The All-Star guard notably inked a five-year, $251 million supermax contract with D.C. last summer.
