Detroit Pistons big man Marvin Bagley III underwent a successful surgery to address his right-hand fracture last Thursday in New York.

Bagley sustained the injury last Monday against the Portland Trail Blazers. As such, per various sources, he will be re-evaluated in around a six-week timeline.

The former top-two pick is in his second year with the Pistons, averaging 10.6 points and 5.9 rebounds while shooting 53.7% in 21.3 minutes per game. He missed 13 games this year after suffering from an MCL sprain in his right knee.

Last offseason, Bagley III inked a three-year, $37.5 million deal with the Detroit brass.
