It appears that LeBron James is playing safe this time with father time ticking and Los Angeles Lakers’ contention being shaky.

The four-time league MVP deleted his viral tweet back in April, noting that he won’t miss the postseason again.

The tweet came in as the Lakers were officially eliminated in the playoffs last 2021-22 season.

This year, though several modifications were made with Darvin Ham calling, and Russell Westbrook filling the sixth-man role among others, Los Angeles’ competitiveness remains in question.

Their chances to contend now lie around Anthony Davis. But unfortunate occurrences have happened as the All-Star big man went down in the middle of the best season of his career.

The Lakers are currently 14-20 and only time can tell what will be there standing in April next year.
