The Boston Celtics star forward Jayson Tatum was interviewed following the team’s 139-118 win over the Milwaukee Bucks. The Celtics have now strung together two straight wins and marked the first matchup between the Celtics and Milwaukee this season.
With the two teams clashing between the top two seeds, the game was a big test for the Celtics. Jayson Tatum scored 41 points and Jaylen Brown added 29 for Boston. Giannis Antetokounmpo, who fell hard on his hand on Friday night but was cleared to start, posted 27 points with nine boards for Milwaukee on Sunday.
On his big performance in Boston on Christmas Day, Tatum said, “It’s hard to think in the moment at 24 that I have a place in Celtics history. But it’s definitely an honor, and I’ve said how much I love being here and what it means to play on Christmas.”
