Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker is expected to make his return to the team’s lineup for Sunday’s Christmas matchup against the Denver Nuggets, sources told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
Due to groin issues, Booker has missed the last three games for the Suns, who went on to carve 1-2 record on the given stretch.
Booker is averaging a career high 28.0 points to go with 5.8 assists, 4.8 boards in 47.7 percent shooting. He is draining 37.0 percent of his 6.5 three-point attempts per game.
The Suns will hit the road to play the Nuggets for the last game of this year’s Christmas Day slate. They will look to snap their two-game losing skid in face of the Conference-leading club.
