Memphis Grizzlies head coach Taylor Jenkins called his roster a bunch of competitors & winners while discussing Dillon Brooks’ energy vs. the Milwaukee Bucks last night during their 142-101 win at home.

(via Memphis Grizzlies):

“He’s the ultimate competitor and he wants to win, that’s what it comes down to. We talk all the time about his energy, his spirit, the tone setting he has, but he’s relentless in how he approaches the game. He loves to compete and he loves to win. And when you got guys like that, we’ve got tons of them on our roster, our guys are never satisfied. They want to get everything right for the most part. Possession after possession, we challenge them to play winning basketball one possession at a time against an unbelievable opponent, and our guys did that tonight. For those guys, it doesn’t matter what the score is, they hold themselves to a high standard. He does it, he holds his teammates to a high standard, they hold each other to a high standard. It’s a credit to what they’re building.”
