Minnesota Timberwolves wing Taurean Prince is “at least a week away, maybe a little bit more” on his return from a shoulder injury, coach Chris Finch told reporters on Friday (h/t team reporter Dane Moore)
Prince has been nursing a shoulder injury since he took a premature leave against the Indiana Pacers on Nov. 23. He missed his seventh game in a row in the Wolves’ recent win over the Utah Jazz.
The veteran forward is averaging 7.9 points, 2.5 boards, and 1.2 assists in 19.6 minutes this season.
He inked a two-year, $16 million contract extension with Minnesota last summer.
