The Minnesota Timberwolves have turned down their $7.4 million contract with Taurean Price, per Adrian Wojnarowski. This makes the forward officially get waived and head to free agency.

Prince has been in Minnesota since 2021-22. Last regular season, the veteran averaged solid numbers as a rotational player with 9.1 points, 2.4 boards, 1.6 assists and a career-high 46.7 percent shooting from three for 54 games.

A versatile forward who can stretch the floor, Prince is poised to command significant interest around the league from the teams who are also looking for wing depth.
