Victor Oladipo will be sidelined on the Miami Heat’s Wednesday season opener against the Chicago Bulls due to left knee tendinosis (h/t South Florida Sun-Sentinel’s Ira Winderman).

Oladipo’s availability is very much at risk due to the fact that he has a lengthy injury history from the past few years. He was swarmed by multiple surgeries on his right quadriceps tendon which plummeted his stardom in the NBA.

Since the 2018-2019 season, the veteran guard only managed to suit up in 96 total regular season occasions. Last season, he entered late for the Heat and went in for just eight games of play.

Oladipo is now on a shell of his former self after two All-star appearances as the main guy of the Indiana Pacers, but he is certainly hoping to revive that old status after inking a two-year deal last offseason to remain in Miami.

With him, Omer Yurtseven (ankle soreness) will also be out against Chicago.
