Pelicans’ guard Jose Alvarado had a career night against the Nuggets. The 24-year-old Puerto Rican dropped a career-high 38 points in 27 minutes of play. He made 8/11 three-pointers on his way to the personal scoring record.

Alvarado’s star teammate Zion Williamson was present at his postgame press conference and made sure he brought up his impressive shooting.

“You know what that means when a dude’s like ‘This dude can’t miss,'” Williamson said during Alvarado’s press conference as the journalists bursted out laughing.

This season Alvarado is averaging 8.7 points, 2.4 rebounds and 3.4 assists in 20.9 minutes per game off the bench.
