His three-point shooting sits at 36.3%, while his overall field goal percentage is 41.8%. The guard is expected to provide additional depth and playmaking for New York’s backcourt rotation.
The Knicks currently hold a 32-18 record, sitting second in the Eastern Conference behind Detroit. Jalen Brunson leads the team with 27.4 points per game, and the addition of Alvarado gives the roster a defensive-minded guard capable of relieving minutes for Brunson and Tyler Kolek.
New Orleans, struggling at 13-39 and 14th in the West, receives Terry, a 24-year-old forward, along with two future second-round picks.
