Lakers newcomer Lonnie Walker IV is getting more and more comfortable with his new team. Most recently the 23-year-old shooting guard scored 17 points in 34 minutes of play in a win over the Pistons.

Over the last three game he is averaging 20.3 points per game. Walker says that being surrounded by three Hall of Famers (LeBron James, Russell Westbrook and Anthony Davis) makes it easy for him to be efficient.

“I’m confident. When you got great teammates who are continuing to instil that confidence and allow you to be aggressive, it only makes the game easier,” he said postgame.

“When you got three Hall of Famers, two Hall of Famers who are playing with us at the moment, like I said before the season started, it’s all about just knocking down easy open shots.

“I’m just playing my game. I think the world finally knows what I’m capable of doing. I’m just doing what I do best”

This season Walker is averaging 16.5 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 31.1 minutes per game.
