Rising star Tyrese Haliburton sustains a lower leg injury in the dying seconds of the Indiana Pacers’ Friday showdown against the Houston Rockets.

Haliburton was limping and helped by his teammates after Usman Garuba contested his layup.

Per assistant Lloyd Pierce who took over after Rick Carlisle was ejected in the first half, Haliburton is all good upon his concerning status.

“He said he’s okay but they all do,” Pierce told reporters, via Pacers Press’ Zach Pearson. “I didn’t see what he hurt, I think he had some ice on his ankle, but I don’t know what the status is.”

Haliburton posted a tweet moments after their 99-91 comeback win over the Rockets, noting that his situation will be fine.

Haliburton ended the match with 19 markers, 8 dimes, and 6 assists, as his playing status is yet to be determined as the Pacers go home to face the Orlando Magic on Saturday.
