Houston’s Alperen Sengun continued his strong play, contributing 30 points and 16 rebounds. Sengun’s performance followed a career-high 37-point game against New Orleans.

Fred VanVleet gave the Rockets a late lead with a running layup, finishing with 18 points and nine assists.

Rockets forward Dillon Brooks exited the game with a right abdominal oblique strain, adding to Houston’s challenges.
