Kyrie Irving is expected to return to the Nets’ lineup on Sunday against the Grizzlies after missing eight games due to a suspension by the team.
With Kyrie being out, Brooklyn won 5 games and now is 7-9. Kevin Durant is looking forward to having his fellow superstar back on the court.
“I haven’t talked to him since we’ve been on the road trip about it, the last couple of days. But we’re looking forward to his return to the team. Definitely gonna give us a much needed spark,” the two-time NBA champion said, per Brian Lewis of New York Pos.
This season Irving is averaging 26.9 points, 5.1 rebounds and 5.1 assists in 38.6 minutes per game for the Nets.
