Two-time NBA All-Star Isaiah Thomas has played almost 600 games in the league and faced many different opponents.
According to the 33-year-old point guard, who remains a free agent, the best player he has ever played against is the late Kobe Bryant. No other player compares to him in his opinion.
“Kobe,” Thomas said. “You just fear him when you step on the floor. His energy was for you to fear. I’ve never seen somebody offensively… I mean KD is obviously offensively gifted, Kyrie.”
“I’ve never seen somebody that sharp. And then I got to build a friendship with him and hear him talk about the game the level that I’ve never heard before. Nobody comes close.”
