Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards is a big threat offensively, however, that is not always the case defensively, especially off the ball.

In his most recent game against the Magic the 21-year-old shooting guard exploded with 35 points. He was also noticeably making a bigger effort on the defensive end as well.

After the game the player revealed what motivated him to be more locked-in defensively against Orlando.

“Because I’m tired of being on film as far as off the ball,” Edwards said, per Dane Moore. “On the ball, I’m always pretty good. Off the ball, I’m always on film… Tonight, I was just like, man, I ain’t trying to be on film tomorrow”

This season Edwards is averaging 21.9 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.9 assists in 36.2 minutes per game for Minnesota.
