Former Virginia Cavalier/current New Orleans Pelicans small forward Trey Murphy III paid tribute to the University of Virginia shooting victims following a 124-110 home victory over the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday.

“I would just like to say as well, I dedicated these last two games to my friends at Virginia that were killed in the last few days. Lavel Davis Jr. was a good friend of mine. Really sad to see him go. He’s a special guy. So please keep their families in your prayers.”
