The Los Angeles Lakers are the most popular sports franchise across US four major leagues, according to a new study, via Daily Mail.
“In a huge piece of research covering the top 120 teams in MLB, MLS, NFL and NBA, the Lakers have come out on top, with their historical pull seemingly outweighing a difficult few seasons on the basketball court.
“They are followed in the rankings by their NBA rival Golden State Warriors – who have enjoyed a more successful time on the paint in recent years – while baseball’s New York Yankees come out third.”
