Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr has declared that he’ll check out his email next time just to be prepared on certain moments.

This announcement came from the fact that the NBA sent a memo around the league that there will be an increased emphasis on whistles for carries and dribble violations. Coincidentally, Jordan Poole fell off as its newest victim during their eventual loss against the Miami Heat on Tuesday.

For his part, Poole was called for a total of three carry violations, wherein he wasn’t able to hide his sarcastic reaction for the last one he committed.

“What Jordan does is a carry, but the whole league’s been doing it,” Kerr said, via Alex Espinoza of 95.7 The Game. “I guess I gotta start checking my email on gameday.”

As such, Kerr didn’t miss a beat of being a hilarious one, as he noted that he expects more focus on traveling violations league-wide for next time around – a penalty that has been drawing irk by not being called frequently by officials.

“I’m looking forward to next week’s email where they announce they’re gonna start calling traveling, also,” Kerr said. “That’s for sure coming. If they’re gonna fix the palming, they’re for sure gonna fix the traveling.”

Meanwhile, Draymond Green has demanded that the carry calls should be kept consistent on the side of referees, as others can manage to escape their officiating.

“If you’re gonna call that, you better call it,” Green said. “Because every guard in the NBA carries. A lot. Some of the best ball handlers in the NBA carry often. If it’s a point of emphasis, let’s see it.”
