Comcast’s NBCUniversal is poised to offer approximately $2.5 billion per season for a package of NBA games. Warner Bros. Discovery, TNT’s parent company, currently pays around $1.2 billion per season and has the option to match any competing bid.

NBC’s package would feature two regular season nights per week and playoff coverage, with potential streaming on Peacock. ESPN’s expected offer is around $2.6 billion, up from their current $1.5 billion deal. Additionally, Amazon is anticipated to enter into a partnership with the NBA for media rights.
