The Memphis Grizzlies have signed Brandon Clarke to a four-year, $52 million extension, sources told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

The retainment of Clarke serves as a huge one for the Grizzlies. If they weren’t able to land a deal with him, the Canadian standout will become a restricted free agent next summer.

Clarke has been a significant big body for Memphis for the past three years off the bench. He averaged 10.4 points, 5.3 boards, and 1.1 blocks in 64 games last season (19.5 MPG).

With Jaren Jackson to miss the earlier parts of the 2022-23 season as he recovers from an injured right foot, Clarke is expected to step up further to cover his absence.
